An inductor used to block higher-frequency alternating currents (AC) while passing direct current (DC) and lower-frequency ACs in a circuit.
Used to block unwanted noise signals or reduce ripple currents in electronic circuits.
Used to block unwanted high frequency noise signals that are present in or “common” to multiple power lines without affecting the lower frequency, or DC, signals.
Device capable of creating a temporary high magnetic field by applying an electrical current through a wire/coil. The field disappears when the current stops flowing in the wire/coil.
