Maintain inductance over specified frequency range

+ Low parasitic capacitance → High self-resonant frequency > 5MHz *

* High inductance or inductors with many turns → lower self-resonant frequency

* Switching above 300kHz limits max. power, whereas lower frequency will extend the given power range
